I create surrealistic\realistic animal portraiture using the natural world as inspiration. My goal is to inspire appreciation for environmental concerns. I received a BFA from the University of the Arts, Philadelphia, and have been creating artwork all my life.
Acrylic is my favorite medium because its fast drying time allows for multiple layering and textured backgrounds. I combine paint, colored pencil, ink and graphite on cotton canvas or masonite board. Most of my art combines some degree of surrealism with abstract backgrounds.
